Our outdoor project

We have started to make our outside area with some help from our local community and our experience from forest school. We looked at lots of different pictures and chosen things that we would like to recreate.

Willow has been planted on the enterance to pre-school so that hopefully in a few months time we might have a willow tunnel.

We have also been to visit ScrewFix, Homebase and Travis Perkins to deliver our request for donation letters.

When we where at the shops we looked at lots of different things that we thought would be nice for our outside area. We also thought it would be nice to get some seeds and plants for our joint Pre-school Erpingham as an opening present.

Erpingham Preschool opening

Norman Lamb MP opened our new Blue Sky Federation pre-school over at Erpingham called Little Brown Hare Pre-School. We helped Norman plant a tree, explored the yurt and heated amphitheatre.

We made some wonderful fat bird feeder balls as Erpingham have lots of different types of birds on their grounds that will hopefully come more often now for their yummy bird feeders.

When we went on our trip to Homebase we thought we would buy Erpingham some opening gifts. We brought them some heather and seeds that they can plant in their wonderful grounds.

Winter

This term we having been exploring winter. We got busy making our artic animals homes.

Our winter wonderland got too small for all the animals so we moved it to a bigger space.

"Oh no we need a fence, they going to escape"

We have had a brilliant time watching the ice melt and freeing the animals.

Spring Term Pre-school Update 1

Digging for dinosaurs

We have enjoyed learning about dinosaurs this week and decided that we would make a dinosaur adventure land. We thought about what they might need and made a map so that we could navigate our way around and then a swamp where the dinosaurs could swim.
