January Week 5

This week we have celebrated national story week. The library van came to visit us and we all chose books to take back to preschool. What great fun we had.

We also got the opportunity to watch a story in sign language.

Mrs Hamilton came to read us a story that we had picked from the library van.

We looked at books independently...........

We had fun at story time in a large group.

Practising our listening skills and following instructions.

The car wash was very popular this week this helped to promote positive relationships and good sharing.

Next week is National Storytelling Week. Children are invited to bring in their favourite book from home to share with their peers. We will be exploring different types of books throughout the week from pop-up books to audio books, culminating in creating our own stories. A visit to the library bus will take place on Wednesday at 11.15am. If your child does not attend the Wednesday session you are very welcome to come along and take books out from11.30 -11.45am.
