Transport

Pre-school have been busy exploring Transport and Journeys this half-term.

We opened up our own garage and fixed our coupe cars. 

Some of our cars  ran out of petrol so we made our own petrol pump. 

At story time we shared some transport books with each other. 

We used shape blocks to make different transport.

We posted different things down the shoots and pipes.

And watched them come out of the other end.

We got to work making a police vehicle but we needed to make hole in the bottom so we could make it move.

Mark making

This week we have been busy mark making in lots of different places.

We have made puffy paint so all our pictures became 3D 

We drew a very big dinosaur on the playground

And we have been busy writing recipes for our mud kitchen.

Moving the grow box

We worked hard as a team to empty the grow box from the back outside area and move it to the front for our new plants.

Garden centre trip

We went to the garden centre to get lots of new and exciting plants for our outside area. 

There were some big tents for all the plants to stay in 

We also went to plant A&E and saved some poorly plants. 

It almost looked like a forest on the mini bus.

World book day - 2nd March 2017

World book was a lot of fun. Lots of different characters including a dragon, princesses and Wonder Woman made an appreance.

Colour week

This week we have been super busy exploring colour. We mixed different colours in the gloop to see what colours they would make. We found out that blue and red make purple. 

We made Splat Bags with shaving foam and added different colours. We watched how the foam not only changed colour but move around as we pressed on different parts of the bag. 

We organised our cars into matching colour car spaces. 

We used different textures to make colourful prints.
