A busy week at Northrepps Pre-School

This week we have been designing and building different homes for Goldilocks And The Three Bears.

We have been exploring different senses and seeing what we can smell in our different smelling pots.

We made tea for our friends.

Our cars are all sparkly and clean from a visit to the car wash.

We practised our cutting skills and made funny faces on our pizza bases using different vegetables.

The End of Term.

Well it has been a fun filled term! From releasing our butterflies that we nurtured from caterpillars, our Beach Safety session with Oak Class and being 'Giants' at Forest School. The children at Northrepps Pre-School really have done us all proud.

On our last day we celebrated our achievements with some of our families and said goodbye to children who are moving onto big school or pastures new. We wish them all the best and look forward to hearing about their adventures.

What better way to end the the term than with entertainment from the wonderful children's entertainers Aunt Pearl and Jazz the Clown!

Sheringham Park Trip

On Thursday 14th July we went on a trip to Sheringham Park. We were all aboard the bus at 10.15am and children who were not in session were invited to join us with their parent/carer in Sheringham. Rob Coleman and his wonderful team of volunteers met us off of the bus and took us to the 'The Bower', a beautiful educational area.

The children took part in pond dipping.

We identified lots of the differing types of life found in the pond.

on a bug hunt, look at what we discovered!

We observed bees in the wildflower garden.

Afterwards we used our art skills to craft our very own bees on sticks.

And we had races with them.

A wonderful time was had by all.

A busy few weeks

We have been very busy exploring our 'big school' role play area.

Making musical instruments.

Gardening in our garden centre.

Finding different numbers on the till at the garden centre.

Practicing the egg and spoon race for sports day.

And after all of that hard work we made some bread rolls that didn't quite make it home as they smelt too delicious, so we ate them for our snack.
